My background.

Before email.
Before Google.

I have been a graphic designer for just shy of 25 years. I started my creative journey as a junior designer working for a small family-owned newspaper and distribution company. It was an exciting time to be in the industry as digital technology was beginning to emerge, and designers were exploring new possibilities. Cloud collaboration, servers and email had yet to hit the little corner of the creative world I was designing in. We made edits on printouts with markers and highlighters; post-it notes and whiteboards were absolute must-haves for brainstorming and project wireframing. "While You Were Out" notes were an actual thing you received when you returned from lunch.

I've designed everything from logos and brochures to billboards and websites (for just a sample, view my portfolio). I can help new companies work out their branding, as well as create branding guidelines.

Programs I use are Adobe products; Indesign, Illustrator, etc. Iā€™m experienced in creating vector graphics as well as web ready graphics.

I love designing stuff, I see the world in a series of shapes and colors with endless possibilities. I also love the details of marketing and geeking out on analytics. I love talking with clients, finding out what they need, and then coming up with a concept they love.
